Welcome to the site. There is information here for anyone visiting Hollywood or anyone who would like to have a career in show business.
If you are planning to visit Hollywood, there is information here about places to eat in Hollywood, sights to see in Hollywood, how to get around by bus or rail in Hollywood, movie studios in Hollywood, some stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood and even some pictures of crumbling theatres from yesteryear in Hollywood.
For people wanting to start their own movie or TV career, I have my bio and if you are interested in a piano course to learn some basic chords and piano riffs I have included that.
If guitar is your instrument of choice, here is a beginner's guide to Guitar chords.
I worked in radio for many years and there are some ideas to get your radio show started.
The site is free and updated occasionally.
I have a few videos on the Video Page. The videos are one man, comedy shorts and one video that shows Hollywood Blvd, Day and Night. The videos are in many popular formats.
Also here is an introduction to Hollywood Unions and some ideas of what to look for and what not to look for when you go searching for actor's agents and managers in Hollywood.
Learn about auditioning and casting and how it works.
A little information about Hollywood High School and Hollywood's "other" high school.
And lots more...
There are some mighty forces in Hollywood. There are producers who have big bucks, agents who have deal-making clout, actors who can get a table in Beverly Hills restaurants that serve clams and crap, and there are directors who marry all of the above. Who wields the power when it is High Noon or Midnight in Tinseltown?
Is it possible that someone sitting on a sidewalk on Hollywood Blvd. is actually an indication of the blowing winds of change which can make or break a studio's bottom line? To find out who holds the real power in Hollywood and why the world of show business is meaningless without their power, click HERE.

The Hollywood Sign as it looks from the parking lot of Shakey's Pizza on Santa Monica Blvd.
The sign can be easily seen from most intersections in Hollywood unless you get too close to it. It is very visible from Hollywood Blvd. and Gower or Hollywood Blvd. and Cahuenga and the back deck of The Kodak Theatre.Other "must see" sights in the Hollywood area include The Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. and The El Capitan Theatre, which is directly across the street from the Chinese Theatre.
Most sights that are important for tourists are within easy walking distance of Hollywood Blvd. and Vine and Hollywood Blvd. and Highland. This bare bones map of Hollywood shows some of the major streets.
The MetroRail has a station at Hollywood Blvd. and Vine and another at Hollywood Blvd. and Highland. For a nominal fare you can travel to Universal City or downtown Los Angeles. There are also many bus lines that navigate through Hollywood. The busses usually have lots of graffiti on the seats, interior walls and windows. The Metrorail is better cared for. There are no bathrooms in the MetroRail stations. There are public restrooms at The Kodak Theater and restrooms for customers at most fast food places.
