Adrian Zmed, Score Tonight

A few years passed between the photo that was taken in the bowling alley scene of Grease 2 in late 1981 or early 1982 and the picture below that was taken over 21 years later. The picture above was taken either Christmas week of '81 or New Year's week of 1982. If you look in the background on the right... way back there... I am in the photo. Look to the right of the nun and you will see a guy with his left arm at a 45 degree angle... that's not me. Look farther to the right and see 4 empty chairs with a guy standing amongst them (nope, still not me). Now right above that is my manager's booth. I am under the light to the far left side of the booth with my hands over my head. Notice all the chorus dancers are reacting to the action in the alley here. This was taken during an actual filming sequence or rehearsal. This could be a black and white screen capture. All of the dancers in the background did the same routine myself included. Patricia Birch not only directed, but was the choreographer.

Adrian autographed this photo for me today, Saturday, June 28th, 2003 at the Collector's Show in North Hollywood.

This picture was taken on Saturday, June 28th at the Collector's Show. Adrian is still in excellent physical condition. He was very pleasant as he always was when I worked with him. He mentioned to me that the Grease 2 DVD and VHS are constantly outselling the Grease original. He thought it was because Grease was a vehicle for John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, while Grease 2 was always for the audience. It was not about some movie star.

Am I starting to loose a little hair? I never realize time is going by unless I see myself in a mirror or photo.

This Collector's Show does go to different parts of the country with different celebrities. It takes place 4 times each year in North Hollywood at Beverly Garland's Holiday Inn. The celebrities today also included Jeff Conaway (He still looks fine), Corey Feldman (looking better than I have ever seen him look. He had his new bride with him. He also had a new short haircut), some of the females from the cast of Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill (just a tiny bit heavier but having a real good time), Tommy Sands (teen idol of the fifties, not looking too healthy), Carol Lynley (still looking good), Fred Travalena and many others.
